Student’s Pass Application/Renewal
♦ We undertake to use best efforts to assist the student if he/she requires a Student’s Pass from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
♦ This includes, without limitation, providing the student with advice on obtaining such pass, a dedicated staff will handle all ICA matters.
♦ The approval of the student's pass is subjected to ICA's sole discretion. Note: We shall refund the tuition fees paid if the student’s pass application to ICA is unsuccessful (less any applicable bank administrative charges properly paid/payable and all such deductions which CBS is entitled to make)

Usage of Student Pass
♦ The Student Pass issued is not transferable and will expire upon the student’s cessation or termination of his/her studies of course/s.

 

ICA Regulations
• Student must attend a minimum of 90% of scheduled course (subject) hours or not be absent from the course for a consecutive 7 days.
• Student must not engage in any form of activities that may contravene the conditions (including those stated in the Student Pass application form, In-Principle Approval letter and Student’s Pass card) in which a Student Pass is issued (e.g. illegal employment)
• Student must not remain in Singapore after the expiry of the Student Pass.
• Student is only permitted to attend the course after approval of the Student Pass has been given by ICA.
• Student must not be retained as a student in any education organisation/s or course/s other than that indicated in the Student Pass.
• Student must surrender his/her Student Pass for cancellation within seven days from the date of cessation or termination of his/her studies of course/s.
Note: Student who broke the ICA regulations may result in the termination of his/her Student Pass by ICA.
